Having been working at electronics industry (Fortune 500 and 1000 companies) for almost 10 years with different roles in the field of sales and marketing management, I would like to switch my career in a management consulting firm to help plot strategy at a corporate level.

For your information, I graduated from the University of Southern California with BS (GPA 3.5 Cum Laude) and MS (GPA: 3.7) in Electrical Engineering. I am holding a middle-level regional marketing role for Asia Pacific South in Fortune 1000 company.

In sum, pls advise how I should get prepared for applying management consultant. Do you think a consulting firm will discount my irrevelant experience and non-business degrees said above?
