Posting Title: Sales Data Warehouse – Process Improvement Implementation Consultant (P3775)
Project Overview:
Our client, a consulting firm, seeks 1 to 2 resources with backgrounds in sales accounting/revenue accounting to support the rollout of an enhanced Sales Data Warehouse to the field organization of their client, a CPG company. Firm has worked with client to enhance systems, processes, and controls to improve accuracy and reliability of sales and revenue reporting.
Professionals selected for the project will become subject matter experts through an onboarding process, and then go into the field to aid local operations with deployment. Professionals will be responsible for validating that field personnel are implementing and appropriately using the enhanced data warehouse, processes, and controls in the order process, deals, reconciliations, etc. and provide remedial training as needed. Assignment entails working with all levels of the field organization: accounts receivables clerks, sales personnel, and management across accounting, sales, order fulfillment, etc.
Skills/Capabilities/Requirements
--Strong accounting background (comfortable with debits and credits)
--Strong Excel skills
--Previous experience with process improvement implementation
--Training experience is a plus
--CPG industry experience is highly desired
--Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization, in particular, to communicate effectively with sales personnel
--Willingness to travel extensively
Project Location/On-Site Requirements
--Dallas or Chicago-based resources preferred, but not essential
--Work will be on-site in client's US plants; heavy travel is required
Project Duration/Start Date
--Immediate start; 5 days/week
--Project runs through May 2010
Compensation:
--Competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience
