Director, Business Advisory Services

Operations Improvement, Project Management, IT, Finance, Change Management and Capital Markets (buy-side and sell-side) Management Consultant

1. Candidate has had in excess of 18 years of experience across a range of operations, process, policy, technology, change management roles having DELIVERED as a consultant, project and people leader in the aforementioned financial services industry areas. We are not looking for generalists but this person will have to operate across a range of capabilities.
2. Partner Candidate – candidate will only be hired if he/she shows the potential for promotion to Partner/Principal
3. Delivery Expert with Solid Relationships and References – candidate is able to architect/craft a solution to a client problem and lead a group through all aspects of discovery, solution visioning with client team, analysis, design, development, implementation and transition. To the extent that the candidate can develop and/or sell into existing relationships, this is a big plus but in reality, we are looking for the person to grow into this role.
Extensive experience in assessing, architecting, and implementing change management strategies and solutions in support of improved efficiency, consolidation of operations, technology enablement, organizational design, and product/service rationalization within financial services, primarily: sell-side capital markets (see list of firms below) – prime services, trading middle and back office post trade execution, operations, technology and finance (product control, financial and management reporting and risk analytics); buy-side (see list of firms below): Asset Management, Institutional Custody and Trust, Alternative Investment Management and Hedge Funds. Excellent communication skills with proven ability to interact effectively with C-suite management (Business, Operations, Technology, Finance, Corporate Services, etc.).

• Developed organizational structures and operating models, implemented performance / productivity / efficiency improvements through head-count reductions, process renovation and technology transformation.
• Designed and evaluated options for shared services/outsourcing, managed migration and implementation of roles/resources to offshore facility.
