FSupply Chain Planning Analytics

Role highlights & requirement but not limited to :
Delivering/adding value to client by improving/suggesting the supply chain practice of the client’s business through
• Inventory Optimization
• Forecast Optimization
Delivering value to on site client team by bringing good knowledge and understanding of best practices in supply chain.
Operational and Other Effectiveness
• Organizes and manages work effort of self and others to provide quality service in a productive and cost effective manner
• Adopts methods and tools that improve personal and team productivity
• Develops simple and easy to understand frameworks and formats to present information and ideas
• Resolves problems quickly and effectively using creativity and innovation
• Asks for and defines needed support when recognizing own/team's limits
• Defines processes to check work and avoid re-work
Requirement analysis
• Understanding the client’s business and objectives
• Translates the client’s objectives into simple understandable functional requirements (modeling as well)
• Analyzes and defines the requirements for modeling / Scenario etc
Supply Chain Modelling
• Creates the supply chain network of the client based on the data and information provided
• Able to lead the validity of model
• Analyzes the results and prepare business case for client
Project Management
• Efficient Program management
• Keeps a tab of adherence to the time line and keeps all stakeholders aware of the same
• Does timely escalation of any deviation from proposed timeline and scheduled budget to all concerned
• Manage resourcing and scheduling issue and manage impact of program due to scope change etc
• Own all the deliverables and service level measures from team.
People Development
• Build and maintain high quality team
• Lead participate in people initiatives and performance management process
Communication with client and onsite teams
• Communicates with client and onsite team regularly via emails and tele / video conference on project progress, information/data requirement, Modeling results and analysis
• Understands the etiquettes of different modes of communication
• Understand the nuances of cultural differences while communicating with client and onsite teams
Other Facts & requirements:
• Planning (Supply and Demand ); Forecasting, Optional ( Production planning and scheduling etc)
• MS Office – Ms-Project , Excel; Access; Power Point
• Supply chain optimization tools – E.g. I2 SCP, ILOG supply chain suite etc.
• Excellent communication & analytical ability
• Problem solving skills
• People mgmt, proactive, presentation skills
• Strong & clear thought process.
• Industry : Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Electronics and Goods, FMCG…..else other industry with relevant supply chain process/skill sets
