Job Description
Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation.

The Strategy Service Line houses individuals who identify and implement high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities by delivering independent strategic and general management consulting services focused on the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer agenda.

Key responsibilities of the role may include:

• Business Development: Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizing and leading pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process.

• People Development: Performing the role of counselor and coach, providing input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.

• Engagement Management: Managing engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing account receivables, defining deliverable content, ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.

• Domain Development: Development of assets and methodologies, development of point-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.

Experience:
Required:
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive business or consulting experience in Telecom or Public services domain.
• An excellent, established track record for selling and delivering consulting engagements.
• Experience working with “C” level executive clients
• An MBA from a Tier 1 B School or a CA is preferred.


Specific experiences may be in one of the following areas:
• Experience in a consulting firm, with extensive experience in projects in which the primary stakeholder was the CEO; Chief Strategy Officer
• Consulting experience in Change Strategy; Corporate Restructuring; Exec Strategic Alignment; Growth Strategy; Market Entry Strategy; Operating Model Transformation
• Business/ Industry experience in broad based general management in blue chip organizations with background in sales/ marketing


Key Competencies and Characteristics:

• This individual must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the “C” level executives in a range of environments
• The individual should be comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm
• The individual should possess an impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
• The individual should have demonstrated entrepreneurial instinct
• The individual should possess and demonstrate high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work
• The individual should have strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts
• The individual should be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach.
