Requirements:
a)At least 13 years of experience with working in a team environment with developers, project leads and managers, business analysts and stakeholders preferably as project manager, delivery manager or delivery head.
b)At least 5 out of the 12+ years of experience as a programmer/technical lead/Sr. programmer himself on Microsoft or Open-Source Platform or both. This is vital.
c)Ability to analyze user requirements and upgrade new features and functionality by studying existing technology architecture.
d)Have successfully led multiple technical and cross-functional teams for small [< 10,000 USD] to mid-size technology intensive projects [> 150,000 USD] at the same time.
e)Ability to track project interdependencies, establish milestones and deliverables to ensure successful project implementation and rollout.
f)Ability to see gaps in existing processes and devise/formulate/upgrade processes. Knowledge as well as ability to customize Project Management Tools like MS-Project, Basecamp, MS- SharePoint etc. in order to devise the necessary processes.
This is vital
g)Strong communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
h)Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and effectively motivate others to work in meeting the goals.
i)Strong absorption and adaptability capabilities
Preferred:
a)PMP certification or exposure to Agile, Sprint Planning, Scrum and Stand-up meetings
b)Exposure to Proposal Making, Business Analysis and Employee Recruitment
c)Exposure of working in a small/mid-size company
